Description:

Unconscious bias can affect the way we perceive others and make decisions. Research shows that even having friends who are different from you does not mean you are immune to biases.

In this interactive workshop, you will explore the concept of unconscious bias and its effects on your community. You will learn how to recognize your own biases and how you can promote diversity and inclusion in both your personal and professional lives, and make a positive impact on the world around you.

Remarks: This is a HMAW1905-recognized event in the “Personal Enrichment & Community Service” category under the “Self-directed Experience” of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness.
